What have we been up to (a pictorial update)

Busy, busy, busy.

Everytime I write or say that it reminds me of Frosty the Snowman.

Claire has PERFECTED the cheesy smile. Don't you just love it? :)

Winter has arrived here in the Lone Star State and we're loving it. Sort of.

Pots of chili (no recipe, I use McCormick), soups and bread, oh my. Oh, so good for the soul but not so muc for my bum, eh? I absolutely loved what Stacey had to say about the dieting thing. I just want to be less. Yes indeedy I do.

Today was Muffins with Mom at Emma's school. So fun but no camera. Bummer.

Update and a this-n-that post :)

We're here, still waiting on answers. Please, please continue to keep my sweet bird on your prayer list. She's doing really well and debating on if she wants to walk. I have some new pics to load on the computer and post in oh, let's just say a few weeks... :)

I will happily report that in my posting absense I have FINISHED the Santa shopping!!!

We're about to be all pink and polka-dotty. Good thing the girl loves everything stripey and dottie. And pink. :)

I'm also taking the girls to a good spot my SIL found to get pics for our Christmas cards. Totally streamlined the process by choosing a card from Shutterfly. So darn easy and I totally wish I would have done this last year. Oh, well. PPD was a very, very bad thing for me this time last year. Had I only believed that it would get better. It did. :)



And I have been pickin' out thread till my fingers are bleeding a monogrammed tree skirt I bought off of eBay. Thank goodness I got a steal on it 'cause it is a pain-literally and figuratively-to remove.



And (just one more and for good measure!) Emma will be OVER THE MOON when she sees her treat for tonight's Friday Night Movie:
